"I am just another dot in the world" - Yayoi Kusama
Hey guys, it's Carrie here and you've probably heard something about the Infinity Mirrors exhibit happening in Toronto. Soooo, I happened to be able to score tickets to go the past week and let's say everything is insta-worthy.
Mirror selfies doesn't compare to being in the room itself, “When you’re in the mirror rooms, it is like discovering different sides of yourself – or multiple modes of being.” But you can't miss an awesome picture opportunity, just remember to prepare your camera before going in because you only get 20 seconds!
Born in 1929, Kusama had come to America from Japan in 1957, she has been taking over the pop art scene all over the world especially with pictures on social media. The ever so hyped exhibit consists of 6 different rooms where it represents the different stages of Kusama's career (the pumpkin one doesn't allow photos). Guided by the unique vision and boundless creativity, Kusama invites us to participate in her explorations of time and space inspiring us to think differently about our connections with the world and universe around us.
